We visited the place during June'19 . Amazing location, warm and cordial welcome by the Manager and the staff. Very spacious rooms in an old building. Presently undergoing renovations and reconstruction of the entire building. A new modern annexe building has already been constructed. We really desirous to be there once everything is ok.
Location is very good and at the top of the hill. It has a big garden also. Food here is also good, just like home. Courteous staff. Good space for parking vehicles. Needs outside renovation..
One of the best place in the chamba . This bungalow is amazing in the top of the his the sunset and sunrise both can be watched from here . This place remind the old bungalow experience but not very well decorated . This unorganized thing gives a extra exiting experience here . It gives a effect of quite lonely old bungalow . every room is huge with fire place. You can spend long quality times with your family here . Generally this place is a haulting zone for many travellers. One need to pre book from website of GMVN . Food is not ready-made always you need to order in the early morning of in the one the before according to that they will bought ingredients . But amazing who wants a quiet thrilling space in top of a hill.
Great location. Good food. Good staff. Ample free parking. Large old style rooms. Needs renovation urgently. Not many tourists are coming here. Most who stay are govt officials. We were stuck in the hotel for two nights due to heavy rains & cold winds. Staff took good care of us.
An excellent location. The GMVN Tourist Rest House kitchen is temporarily closed for renovations. I will revisit the place after the reconstruction. Staffs are really helpful.
