Moti Mahal is on of the principal historical building of Gwalior. It has been the center of state power in central India for more than 130 years. It was constructed in 1825 by Scindia rulers of Gwalior in Hindu architectural style. Moti Mahal has more than 300 rooms.

Moti mahal is the old building once was darbar mahal of Scindia. Now serving as smart city office and government related work in this office. You can see “Chitera” painting on wall, other then you can have great look of carving and Indian architecture in that building. In front of it their is “Baija Tal” which is famous for boating in present time. Distance from city center is 4KM. Opening hours is 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Saturday. You’ll love that place when you go their.
One good and calm place to sit and spend some quality time with yourself. That old buildings and work of art on those walls makes it more beautiful.
