Vaccination here is a seamless process. Well managed and done systematically and quickly. No walk-ins are allowed and you need to take prior appointment. Parking is available on the street outside so bringing your vehicle isn't an issue. One minor setback was on Sunday there was no coordination between the staff and security as to whether vaccination was available on 2/06/2021 and weren't informed that they had accepted bookings. Instead they instructed everyone that there won't be any vaccination. People were waiting from 8am to 2pm when vaccination finally started. Attached are a few images elaborating the details. Went for vaccination in the morning. There was long queue outside the gate, on the road in burning sun blaze. There was no shed, no sitting arrangements, no social distancing. Many of them were senior citizens, standing for many hours. After getting in, and getting token, people were comfortably sitting in an air conditioned lounge. There were more than 100 chairs. But here again the chairs were kept without any distance between two chairs. I feel that Thane Municipal Corporation should provide better facilities.
Had to wait in the sun outside building for almost an hour, apparently there was some issue inside and line wasn't moving. We were told this usually doesn't happen. The entire process took about 2hrs...Anyone with any slot timings can come at anytime (till the center is open).eg: we had slot of 12-1pm but we could have come at 9am. Overall the process was smooth.
Just completed my second dose of vaccination today at this facility. Extremely well managed vaccination process. The staff n the supervisor are quite cooperative and very helpful. Kudos to all those involved in making the vaccination process a well oiled machine. Keep up the good work.
A good place for getting Covid vaccination.Very well managed..... Staff is polite and professional. Despite large number of people desiring vaccination service was quick. Spacious waiting area... Good Sitting arrangements... Very very nice....
