Best University of Assam .. Very natural and friendly Surrounding in the Hostels .. Any one can love to read here
I expend here 2 years during masters in physics. The two years were the best time in my life. I can't explain the anything in word's. I literally wrote a book on it ( the time expend during the course) in bengali. I stay in Nilachal Men Hostel and I love to the Library where I expend most of the time. The campus fully greenery and pollution free. Such a natural beauty campus I had not never seen before. I love you TU, I miss you lot you and my friends and teachers.
One of the two Central Universities in Assam established alongwith the Assam University, Silchar. The University has a beautiful campus situated in the midst of greenary, lakes and gardens. The campus is clean and well maintained. The University has also excelled academically. In case you're a visitor, you have to enter your name in a register at the gate and mention the purpose of visit - office/to meet anyone. Students commute in bicycles. Two wheeler riders and pillion need to wear helmets. You can reach the University from Porua or Dholabari. From Dholabari the distance is much less.
