Worst station. You can't breathe proper here, have to use a mask! Coal dust every where and if you spend one night at station your lungs you inhale that much coal dust in to your body that after throat cleaning you would see black mucus. So be cautious and wear a mask always
Important station for all singrauli district travellers. This is only station in this area where all trains take hault for minimum for 5 minutes. This is a source station for 4 trains among which two are intercity for jabalpur and varanasi and two are express trains for patna and lacknow. Singrauli railway station is an important railway station in Singrauli district, Madhya Pradesh. Its code is SGRL. It serves Singrauli city. The station consists of 3 platforms. The platform is not well sheltered. Singrauli Station serves as a major transport point for the nearby areas. It lacks many facilities including water and sanitation. The station has been recently extended to 3 platform with coalyard being shifted few hundred meters away from station. It's a good place for visitors..
Very polluted place due to presence of many coal mines in nearby area and also due to transportation of coal by private transport and loading of coal in railway rake by pay ladoers adjacent to railway platform. Very few stalls are present at railway platform and mainly open when train's like Shakti Punj Express arrival up and down train and Patna Singrauli Link express train departure time.
