ISKCON VADODARA spread across 6 acres of land, is situated in the heart of the cultural city of Vadodara. The temple is here since almost 4 decades now. The temple complex construction was completed and inaugurated in Sri Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav, 1999. The deities inside the temple are of their Lordship Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, Sri Sri Radha Shyamasundar and Sri Sri Sri Jagannatha Baladev Subhadra and ISKCON Founder Acharya A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada! The temple is surrounded by beautiful scenic lawns both in the front and back with many wonderful fruits and flower trees namely Champa, Marigold, Roses, Banana, Mango, Coconut, Neem etc. A Tulasi garden too is located on the left side of the temple. A Big Gaushala with approximately 120 happy cows, bulls and calves is located behind the temple. The temple administrative/accounts complex along with the Ashram is situated on the right wing whereas the left wing houses a 22 rooms guest house and a community hall. The Govinda's pure vegetarian restaurant and snack bar along with the gift shop/ bookstore is on the right side from the main gate. This is a beautiful temple with positive/ spiritual vibes and is a tourist attraction in Vadodara and a 'must visit' for all.
We went at the time of harati i.e., 6 30 in the evening. It's very nice to hear Harti and felt very pleasant. Prasad was simply superb????
