A good government hospital in Behala, Kolkata. It has improved a lot in medical and infrastructural parameters. I had a good experience while taking first dose of Covishield here.
A Good quality Govt. hospital in Behala area. Fair price medicine shop provide 68% discount on MRP of all generic medicines here. N-95 mask, N-99 mask, PPE kit and many generic medicines are not available in fair price medicine shop. Fair price diagnostic centre runs by Sanjeeban gives much discount for opd and admitted patients, but in case of outside patient; they charges a reasonable price. For OPD, they charges Rs 2/ for ticket and then doctor's consultation is absolutely free. Doctors provide free medicine from the pharmacy of the hospital. For OPD, you have to wait in a long queue. Doctors are mostly junior doctors, they are practicing. They take very less time to check you beacuse their time is limited in comparison with the no. of patients. Atmosphere of the hospital is overall clean. Covid vaccination is done here free of cost. Covid test through RT-PCR is also done here. One sanitizing tunnel is installed in front of the gate of OPD, which is not in working condition. Emergency service is available in this hospital.
Dr Bijoy Guha Roy (medicine department)worst doctor of this hospital.he don't even prescribed medicine doesn't check the blood test report not treat well with the patient Vry bad and rude behaviour.its my humble request to the administration of the hospital pls take some strict action against him.
