Mysore university is best as far as other universities are concerned. Now a days , VTU is the empowered to conduct BE exams . Mysore university has many undergrads and higher educations like BSc , MSc etc. Mysore University is one of the oldest and prestigious Universities in India. Dr. S Radhakrishnan was professor in Mysore Maharaja College who later became President of India also Kannada Poet Kuppalli Venkatappa Puttappa in short KUVEMPU was the Vice Chancellor of this University. Mysore University has a great tradition and majesty. People like RK Narayan and his brother RK Laxman were also associated with this University. As far as I know, all the big names in Kannada literature were educated and graduated in Mysore University.
