A steep way to the Datia palace is thorough a busy market .. Good for a very short trip . There is drinking water facility inside the ticket counter . No seating places inside the palace , only outside there are few benches made . The natural coloured paintings can be seen in the entrance only .. the lattice work and traditional designed architecture make it a photographer's favourite place ..
Actually it is the best place who have the interest in medival era. The architecture, design , looks ,outside view and much more things you can explore here. When you watch outside from the windows of the palace then you find that actually the city was planned so well. The water management process is the best thing that they manages in past which is not easy to see now a days.
The place is ignored by almost everyone . The whole town of datia isn't on most of the tourist's map. They have their own reasons but this palace deserves to be on the list if you pass through datia. Top floor is just marvelous.
