Had my 70 year old father's vaccination first dose from here. Positives: Once you get in they register your documents and provide you with token number. The staff makes people sit based on their allotted token numbers. The head of the department calls 20 numbers and asks people to queue and each round 20 people get cleared. Time required was 10 minutes, quite swift. Once inside the ward room. The room has centralized AC. People wait for their turn and a personnel checks appointment details. Then the doctor will remove the seal of the Covaxin vial and takes the vaccine, shows you and then inject it. Once done they give 2 paracetamol tablets and ask you to wait 30 minutes before leaving. The waiting area has CCTV monitoring and photography booths. Once done, you can leave. Negatives: Despite taking the appointment for 1st dose several of the old age people had to queue in the heat. Once the queue started moving there was lots of confusion. There is No Covaxin 1st dose available, then another personnel said 1st dose Covishield only available, then another called all who had appointment for the 2nd dose of Covaxin should go first. But once inside everything was organised. I'm unable to get my father's 2nd shot as it does not show in Cowin website or in Thane. So unsure whether they're still administering vaccine or are just Covid patient dedicated hospital.
