This is completely misleading! There is NO hospital at this particular location. We had an emergency in the middle of the night. We followed Google Map and landed in the middle of Fancy Market! The main hospital is approx. 400 meters away from this location. It is near the Darjeeling Motor Stand and Sadar Police Station.
There are very good facilities. I liked it here.

This is one of the very few government run hospitals, which is clean. Situated in the heart of the town, it is the largest hospital in Darjeeling hills. More than 300 bedded hospital has OPDs, emergency, indoor, ICU and SNCU (sick neonatal care unit). The dialysis unit is almost ready and expected to be opened for general public within a month. The indoor has a dedicated burn units and a geriatric ward. Medicine, surgery, gynaecology and obstetrics, eye, Ent, orthopedics, skin, paediatrics, psychiatry, dentistry, physiotherapy, acupuncture, homeopathy services are available. Superspeciality disciplines like neurology, neurosurgery, nephrology, endocrinology etc services are not available.
