It's your typical govt office. Entry is not very restricted. If the place is housing the CM's office, then at least an ID card proof on your person should have been made mandatory to enter this premises. Cleanliness and upkeep is the usual.
Good security system , but proper information center for guiding visitors is lacking
It is functioning in heritage building. All buildings were built during British period. Old museum is there. Army unit is functioning here. Tamilnadu Government has taken from Army on long lease basis. Car parking is not sufficient for secretariat.
