I Vision was situated in Chalakudy, it is a beautiful village in Thrissur district having abundant of natural beauty. Both KSRTC bus Stand and Private bus stand are very close to us hardly 600 meters. Nearest Railaway station is Chalakudy where most of the trains halt. Cochin Intenational Airport Nedumbassery 20 Km Thrissur Town - 30 Km Angamaly Town - 15 Km Community outreach programmes are the integral part of the day today activities of, i vision eye care centre, chalakudy. The community out-reach department of the hospital is actively engaged in availing the eye care services at the lowest cost to the underprivileged in the community. The main objective of organizing outreach programmes is to reduce the preventable blindness from the locality.
Good ambience & modern eye care facilities available in this hospital.Excellent services from doctor &staff when my father's surgery was done.Nursing staff were very polite & caring and explained all doubts clearly after surgery...But we had a very bad experience from a lady counsellor. She was arrogant rude and had a very harsh tone to us.Maybe as we were operating under gov't.insurance she behaved like that.So hospital management Please note that your hospital is also financially benefited from gov't.insurance scheme so respect all patients equally.Apart from this everything s very nice..
Just sharing and unpleasant experience in this Hospital during our last Visit with my mother. As our regular doctor was off duty, receptionist booked appointment for a corneal speacialist at 10.15 am.We reached hospital at 10 am. Spectacle testing done and we moved to the 1st floor waiting area by 10.15 am. This doctor after seeing a few patients was taking 15 to 20 minutes break repeatedly making unnecessary delay. Being a diabetic patient, as my mother was getting dizzy by 11.40 i was forced to enter the doc. room to request consultation, I was shocked to see the doctor playing cards in the computer while so many sick patients like us were waiting outside. Consulted doc. by 12.15 pm, she prescribed drops & advised surgery & dilating test. As it was again more time consuming we didn’t do the test. Also another abnormal thing was we were forced to remove chappals before entering the docs chamber as if entering to a church while the nurse and doc. were wearing their footwear inside. As we came down we noticed no such protocol was observed by the doc. sitting in the ground floor. Why these extreme strange measures n the 1st floor??.. The nurse guided us to the counsellor for the details of surgery at around 12.35 pm. Adding to our frustration we noticed her scolding the nurse, stared at us, asked us to wait for another 30-40 mts and walked away for lunch. This was the maximum tolerable limit to us & so we walked out. The positive side include courteous reception staff, polite & helpful nursing staff, good hospital infrastructure, Economical and Excellent covid precautions. But my appeal is to avoid unnecessary delay especially for the elderly patients during this pandemic times.
Visited I vision for the treatment of my mother. A very good, developing eye hospital in and around Chalakudy. Well organised team of Doctors and staff. Good pharmacy and opticals. Calm but not distant from the city. Good treatment. Good Covid precautions. Well maintained. Overall good service and nice experience..
Good service, good staff
