Really great place to spend some days in between solitude. The forest is also known for different animals like bison, tiger, wild boars and spotted deer. There are numerous hotels for accommodation here.
The Tree House is terrific. Great experience to stay two night. All modern amenities available here. Wonderful ambiance also. Surrounded in Betla National Wildlife park.
This is a Park in Palamu. As this is maintained by govt I saw very poor condition of museum. Also park was having very less animals. Elephant 🐘 and deer 🦌 can be seen easily even from the fencing of the park. There is a option to go inside for safari on Jeep but you will get very less animal. Tiger 🐅 was there before but now it is not seen at all. Govt need to take more action to improve the pathetic condition of this park. I saw only few visitors from nearby place came, even on Sunday it was very less crowded. This place can be easily reachable as the roads are in good condition but very less no of good hotels are there. So better have food and come.
I would rather say it as a forest and not a national park. The park just has deers, a few pet elephants and peacocks. Nothing else. It's waste to spend 1200/-. The guide just talk anything informative. They should remove the guide and only keep the driver, who talks good.
One of the oldest national park in the northern zone. Visitors can have a good day out in the dense jungles on a safari .
