We have been there for our delivery our first baby. We were excited like every other parent. We had insurance card with cashless facility. Here is my experience. Pros: Good Doctor and the location of hospital is near to main road. Pharmacy is available with mostly required medicine. Perhaps these are the only pros. CONS: STFF: Yes, the word CON is best suited for the staffs. They don't have even have proper infrastucure to handle a new patience. No one was there to explain the process before admission, type of rooms, charges. What are medicine going to provide and good and bad effect. I was all alone with my wife. The were just busy preparing documents and get those signed without even explaining why it is so. Nursing staffs are pretty young and needs to more improved and professional. A patient expects that you are Doctor in absence of main doctor. But I had to call every time whenever drips gets empty. I had to remind them every time to change or refill the drip. They should teach us what are the steps needs to be taken post delivery, how to feed and hold baby and more. They did not do anything. Just few injections. One more thing they also forgot do to dressing on area of post surgery. Although they provide OT dress not forgot change it on time. Those housekeeping aunties are always looking for money collecting opertuniting for small thing they charge money in the name of tea and sweets. They never understand what is running in the mind of admitted patient and their family. If you refused to pay then you will hear earful every time you pass by them. They are not professional not maintaining hygiene. Instead chewing Paan all the time. ROOM: We took AC room. My God AC, TV and FAN are available but these are only for demonstration purpose. Nothing is working, I repeat nothing is working. Somehow we managed to stay there for 3 days. And they charged me 2500 INR per day. CHEATED. BED: The most important part. There comes the cruelty part I got one BABY JHULA which was full of rust, old bed, dirty even we can see dried blood strains and insects were crawling. I was very upset, is the way I would welcome by BABY? How bad father I am :( . I felt deeply regretted, angry, frustrated, disappointed and above all HELPLESS. Payment and Discharge: I must have asked multiple time about the estimated amount and charge break up. No one cared to give proper answer just passing me to this person to that person. I had opted for cashless treatment but on the day of discharge they handover me a long bill with some substantial amount to pay. I had no choice but paid. More ever they took my baby's all documents including all past ultra sound reports and including blood reports, Covid test report (For those I paid from my pocket in past). Why they want for claim purpose? In between pediatric doctor charges extra for giving vaccine. HUH.. Being a patient having 2 days old baby, she went to hospital office. Spoke to those guys logically explained what are documents we should get back (Thankfully her banking working experience helped.) Suggestion to Hospital : Please consider us as human not as money earning opportunity. LEARN SOMETHING FROM SUM HOSPITAL, BHUBANESWAR WHICH IS REWARDED AS BEST 3 HOSPITAL OF INDIA I would never go to this hospital ever again. Neither I would recommend to anyone. Rating: Minus ONE

The worst hospital I have ever been. Very rude and ill behaved nurses and staffs. I want to give a zero rating. NVR go there.
