A fabulous heritage resort located on a hill-top that offers the most amazing view of the fields below as far as the eye can see. The architecture has been restored from ruins, literally, and the restoration is well chronicled in pictures at various locations in the resort. The hospitality was warm, the service prompt and courteous and the food delicious. If one is looking to get away from the hustle - bustle of everyday city life, and just chill for a couple of days, this place is where you should be headed. They offer good wifi in the rooms and throughout the property even when moving around outdoors, but there's no TV in any room...helps you try something else for a change 😁. If it's the winter months (highly recommended time to stay here), one can spend endless hours in the sun during the day, reading a book, listening to music, birding, or whatever it is you like to do. Just recharge your batteries. Great place also for a get away with family and friends. It is pet friendly too!!! Highly recommended.

A fascinating trip back in time. Beautifully laid out and maintained. The staff is courteous and helpful. The buffet meals concentrate on local fare which is really good. They could go easy on the oil in some gravy dishes though. Evening time the place lights up magically. Long walks can take you on to different levels and on grassy lawns and mud paths. The pool area is a real haven of cool once the day gets warm. Hammocks add to the joy of enjoying the breeze off the water. Approach roads are bad. Though the drive back is smooth with no potholes or broken patches. Be aware of monkeys though. Harmless though they are could be tempted by careless leaving around of food or shining baubles like glasses or cell phone.

An amazing weekend getaway! The remote location makes it more serene with very few people around. It's completely okay, if you skip sight seeing and explore the fort instead. An added plus point for poor connectivity, that in turns provides for a detox. The staff is very warm, hospitable and welcoming. Bathroom facilities have scope of improvement. Although they are manageable.

Beautifull place must visit. Good for those who want some different experience than hotel. Its fort and it was amazing staying there. Food was awesome so is the guide tour. Its a great place with greenery and peace all the way. High tea was awesome as the place of high tea was amazing. We can see almost full city from there.

Beautiful ambience, very well maintained, warm and welcoming staff and most importantly the essence of fort, its grandiose and feel is heart warming. Old age friendly, pet friendly and pristine. Thank You Tijara fort palace for making our stay a memorable one.
