Went there to take covid vaccination for my wife on 10 June 2021after booking in Cowin Site. Travelled all the way from Alappuzha. They didn't give the vaccination. Told that the bookings for Under 40 got opened by mistake and they were cancelled. Should have intimated us through an sms. Very irresponsible and rude behaviour from the part of the officer. Had to return without taking vaccination.
Went for Covid Vaccine, staff very rude. They decide whether comorbid diseases are severe and who deserves vaccine. Unorganised useless services. Nearly 200 people gathered in small space based on sms from cowin but not all names called, very poor management.
Once this Hospital was the solace for the patients of a number of sorrounding GRAMA PANCHAYATHS. Now the inpaient treatment is almost withdrawn or for namesake. THERE IS INFRASTRUTURAL FACILITIES IN THIS HOSPITAL TO DEVELOP THIS CHC IN TO A STANDARD OF DISTRICT HOSPITAL, facilitate it is, as an alternative center to meet every contingent situations.
