Very good place. Markets are available near this place. Travelling experience is quite good. One can easily reach this place at a lower cost. Overall experience is good.
Why isn't there any zero star? Perhaps that would have suited to the idle , good for nothing fellows seated on this university. Too bad, too inconsiderate. They have zero tolerance towards the students and still boast of being a supreme institute. Actually they are over burdened of the extreme pressure of the 150+ colleges under their affiliation.. Beware of them, they can ruin your child..
The University of Burdwan building dating back to the Colonial periods was converted to an educational centre (in competition to the then Presidency College)by the Maharaja of Burdwan. The sprawling campus boasts of having good greenery all around. The area is a morning 'fitness freak' hang-out where people jog,run,sprint, freehand etc. Local tea stalls all around the campus provide a good cup of tea after people have worked out...
This is my dream place. I spent thirty years in the University. 1 love this place from my heart.
