Nicely preserved, well maintained. Museum is a must watch. The history will take you at that time of Maharajas. The park is also greatly decorated. Totally worth the money for the entry fee. The guns and sword section is a great watch. But taking picture is not allowed. So bear with it.
Opening: 10am to 5pm. The museum is awesome. If you want to see huge fishes and turtles in the pond, throw in some food. The Rajbari Museum is also very good. There is a whole array of stone sculpture of Gods and Goddesses, some of them dating back to even a millennia. The collection of weapons of kings is also impressive. The traditional attire, utensils and items of daily use are educating. The architecture of the palace is highly impressive.
Sprawling expanse and an architectural standout - considering it was inspired by the Renaissance style. It is now a museum with various artifacts from the days of the Koch kingdom on display in various galleries, alongwith some other historical artifacts. The grandeur of the palace reflects in its exquisite style of ornate doors, windows and wall panels. This place is under the Archaeological Survey of India. The exterior, however could do with a little polish. You can also spend a leisurely time in the lush green park surrounding the palace.
Good 👍 but the road in front of the main door of palace is narrow and blocked by cars, trucks... I think that roads should be wider and beautiful because they are representing the Royal areas also
Very nice
