Love this place as I'm belong from Sitamarhi and visited many times. This is spiritual and religious place as well as there is a park for littleones & oldies for relaxation but need to add more swings or flowering area. It has a religious and moral value infront of all and mostly visited by travellers so make this place clean & attractive.
As the ancient tale goes Mata Sita was born here, when King Janak performed the Haleshwa Yagya and was ploughing the land here. Lakshmi Incarnate Goddess Sita emerged from a pot. Sitamarhi is highly underrated as far as its religious value is concerned. Visiting the temple is a very divine experience.
Because it's a religious palace and peaceful environment
Perfect place to visit with family... Parking space is also available there..
Nice place and good look
