I studied here for 7 years and what can I say now is Wow. It was really wonderful staying there. This school in wild prepared me for the actual wild outside. I can adjust to almost any situation and anyone. This place made me a monk plus they gave me good education. However I am not sure how much they are competing with real world nowadays. But in my time it was like a free education in high class school.
A very good idea conceived by former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi in 1986. The concept of opening a JNV in every district of India was very successful for specially people’s who are staying in rural India with good academics but less resources. I study here for 7 years(1997-04) and achieved in life whatever I wished, just because of JNV
