This place is quite lonely on weekdays so you can itself drive there or rent a car. The place itself is quiet with peacocks to see. Kind of maintained by the government, as you can see iron rods and pieces of stone lying everywhere. But still, a very nice place to enjoy on weekends. You can carry snacks as the full exploration will take you around 1-2 hours. But, there are a lot of stone pieces that if not careful, can hurt you.

More of a historic place. It is mainly a group of 100+ temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Each of the temples contain Shivlinga. No poojas activities take place in the premises except for one temple. Rest of the premises are mostly naturally destroyed which are still being restored. The place is still beautiful and serene.

How this group temples came to be rebuilt is an amazing story. Very quite very beautiful. Rebuilding stopped many years back. Hope ASI resumes the work. There is also necessity of making approach roads better. I was told by some that these temples are under the threat of falling again because of illegal mining going around in the nearby areas. Blasts for mining shake these temples. Very bad news. Hope authorities would take notice.

Little far away and roads leading to the place are not good but the place is worth a visit for sure. The place is aloof too. About the temples they are an amazing site built in 600 and 900 CE do depict a lot about our heritage. Most of the idols were vandalized 100s of years ago and they are mostly broken but temples were also broken but recently Dr Muhammad from ASI have done a tremendous job in reinstating most of the temples. Work is still in progress on reinstating them and i think it may take few more years from now (2021).
