East Main Road Primary school is an old government primary school established in 1975. The school is upto class 5 starting from nursery and has a student strength of less than 100 local kids with less than 15 teachers. The old structure of the building was at the brink of collapse but new classes has been built already and are more safe and durable. There is also a school kitchen just above the school playground. The washrooms are in worse condition with no sign of improvement (as all primary govt. school). I hope the school authorities will do necessary to keep the compound clean and washrooms more hygenic and hope the govt. will take action and provide more facilities to these local kids and build classrooms till 8th standard atleast. 3 stars for latest improvements.
