Super duper hotel!!!! We stayed for 5 days and it was one of the best time we had. It may create a bit of problem for those who have knee issue, as the lift goes under maintenance for good time. The hospitality is at its best, the staff is friendly, cheerful and courteous. The rooms are super neat and clean. The hotel is spread over a great landscape so there is space to breathe and roam about. There are 2 children playing area in the hotel, one indoor and other outdoor. This was a boon for us, as I have 2 kids and we didn’t had to bother about them. The kitchen staff and the food is not upto the mark. Very basic breakfast, and the restaurant does not serve variety of food. Very limited menu, like even if the have variety the would have just 2 or 3 selections on it. However, enjoyed a lot at the hotel.
Great place. I had a wonderful time here. The only drawback is that its little far from main market and by 6 pm it turns deserted road. Rest It was good. Mall road has good restaurants
Darjeeling is one of the most visited place by travelers . We may visit many times though staying at May fair has given us an unique experience of staying at Darjeeling in the Christmas. The ambience and flavour and spirit of Christmas was truely celebrated. The courteous staff, grandness of the hotel and the delicious foods has made our stay comfortable. The children game room was good but heater in the room was not working.
One of the best places in Darjeeling. If you have budget then don't forget to check-in in Mayfair Darjeeling. Very good staff and chef. Supporting one. Rooms are good and even surrounding is well maintained. Awesome place.
Great location, great hospitality, great food, overall an excellent hotel to stay in Darjeeling. The hotel is very tastefully decorated. It has fair number of activities for adults and children. It is close to the mall and Chowrasta, major tourist points of Darjeeling, yet is on the quieter side of Darjeeling. Has a traffic-free walking trail with 3 viewpoints of Kanchenjunga mountain close by. If you are looking for a luxury hotel in Darjeeling then this could very well be the one that you are looking for.
