Its one of the oldest govt hospital in murshidabad
This is old hospital ( Rao General Hospital) , Also a heritage building. This hospital is now part of Murshidabade Medical college known as Sadar campus or second campus. Most of the Dept. have been shifted to the new general campus at station road. Only Homeopathy Dept, TB ward, ART and some part of Matrisadan are running at present at this campus. Local people are in demand of full running of the hospital.
