A govt initiative to help the local farmers. Due to odd location it didn't achieve the goal. Transportation cost become high for the farmers as well as traders. It's speculated that the it can replace the Amta wholesale vegetable market. But still now it didn't start. Presently it's a distribution point of bicycle to school students under state government SABUJ SATHI project.
This not known for kisan mandi or Farmers market.. It is known as the place where students of class 11 & 12 get bicycles from wb government...
