The hospital staff is irresponsible as on enquiry on 30 sept it was told that appointment of Dr Sahai for 01 Oct 21 in OPD will be started at 9AM on 01 Oct, but while making call at 9 AM on 01 Oct , the staff told that all the appointments are full for the day. When it was told to her that yesterday it was told that appointment will be given on 01 oct only, then she connected the phone to OPD of Dr sahai. There the concerned person replied that Doctor will not attend any patient today though he is in the hospital. THIS IS HIGHHANDEDNESS of the Doctor or the hospital authorities that patients are not attended despite doctor being in the hospital. It was also told that doctor has asked them to cancel all the appointments. This looks strange and is unbelievable. Hospital authorities shall verify the facts and take appropriate steps to see that patients are attended with all seriousness and hospital staff who is at telephone calls must be sensitized about their roles and inconvenience's caused to the patients. Secondly if the fact is established by the hospital authorities, then corrective action shall be initiated to avoid recurrence in future.
