We used a variety of Geri Care services in my father's last weeks: doctor visits, nursing care, attendants, equipment rental, and attending to medical situations as they came up. For every one of these, we were very happy with the quality of care, the prompt communications and the extremely professional manner in which everything was handled. It made a very difficult time easier to deal with. I would recommend Geri Care very highly and without reservation.
My father 90yrs had Diabetic and UTI related problems and was treated at Geri Care by Dr. Aswin Geriatrician and Dr. Gurubalaji, Urologist. After treatment he recovered well and active and able to move on his own without others help. Thanks to Geri care and the Nursing and ICU staffs including Physio team.
I developed speech & swallowing difficulties after an attack of pneumonia. I am 80 years old . Kavitha Vijayakumar of Gericare did speech therapy for me on Zoom as I was not in Chennai . The oro motor exercises she taught me & the lively speech sessions we had were very effective . Her dedication , care , concern & friendly approach acted like a tonic & boosted my confidence . I wish Kavitha all the best in her career .
Hi - Very bad experience with Geri care. We had gone there for a medical issue. The Dr suggested no medication. When we requested bloodtest, it was done but results never shared till date via email saying it was already emailed inspite of repeated requests. Dr.Ashwin, knew the lab report by 2 pm same day but did not take it seriously. We were asked to get admitted the next day at 10 am which is past 12 hours. Luckily we decided to go to a different multispeciality hospital where we got immediate treatment in Emergency and admitted. My request -Life is precious and Doctor has to treat patient immediately instead of taking it lightly and let nature to cure. Went on recommendation. Will not go or recommend anyone to Gericare.
It was really a memorable experience from Gericare T.Nagar. One of my friend told me that this hospital is taking real care and elderly patients really feel comfortable with the doctors and the care given by the staffs. Based on that I went for vaccination and with utmost care they delivered the same to my family. Thanks for the caring staffs...keep it up..🙏
