Whatsapp based consultation is useful. The process of payment was smooth. But sound quality is poor over mobile phone. Better to do over a PC using Zoom or Teams. And better to schedule a consultation video call in advance to be prepared. Rather than do at 1 minute notice depending only on doctors' availability.
Dr. Srividya is incredible. Not only has she taken great care , but also she is lovely to speak with. Appreciate her patience to listen to the patient. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. Columbia Asia staff are very helpful, even with current situation they are doing a wonderful Job. I highly recommend Columbia Asia hospital.
Have visited the hospital a number of times for medical care for my parents. Most recently for COVID treatment. Understandably we had to wait a while at the emergency before admission and treatment. The emergency staff (Doctors, nurses, non-medical staff) were doing their very best to attend to all patients. Patient care is very good. Service team is quick in responding to issues & concerns. Treatment cost on the higher side but quality of treatment and results have always been very satisfactory. Very good experience with all the doctors we have consulted and interacted with. This can't be Manipal... this is still pathetic Columbia Asia...Pathetic services. I had a wheelchair patient. There was no one to push the wheelchair. They charge surprisingly high for CT scan...and if you need a hard copy they will charge you extra 600... Hard copy is a norm elsewhere... If you have to get echo done you have to be there in person for 4plus hours ... You can't get echo reports on email... you have to come in person and collect the reports... Update: had a detailed discussion with the hospital operations management team. All concerns were noted down and action was assured. Review was written while we were still at the hospital. Dr Ranbir came forward and was seen acting on the points immediately. We hope all points would be addressed. It's only 15 days since Manipal hospital acquired Columbia Asia so Manipal culture is still not imbibed in there.
Very bad management. Doctors are good but the staff especially people sitting in reception, insurance and customer care. No one wants to work.. they will keep the people run from one desk to other. Went to ask a small doubt about insurance.. doctor told to go to 3rd floor insurance.. when I went there they asked me to go to customer care and when I went there they asked me to go to reception.. when I went to reception they asked me to go to again 3rd floor insurance.. most of the people are roaming around like me.
