The wedding banquet hall was great. I visited this place for a wedding. The food catered here was very nice. It's located on a hilltop. A short drive up a private hill. It's ideal for a private party/stay.
It is a beautiful property,full of greenery. The rooms are spacious . The staff are courteous to a fault. They go out of their way to ensure that the pax have a great experience. Food is great and so is the ambience. The peacocks are the bonus. We really enjoyed our stay .
We stayed on Diwali day. Probably less workers on that day. Mini bar was empty. Dinner prepared late. Need to request for some basic needs. Less maintenance. Rooms are wide enough. Very old buildings and hence little more maintenance needed. Does not give a feel of 5star hotels compared to one in metro cities.
It's been a nice and short experience, I have already been to their restaurant a year back. Recently booked room for a night and unfortunately I had to leave within 8 hours of check-in. Good service, best ambience in Madurai. The drawback I see is they didn't provided me any vehicle to shuttle between room to gate and you can order food from outside, but they won't allow delivery agents to the room. You have to get down from hill to get food. It was quite discomfort. Rooms were clean and decent, I booked a standard room and it is spacious for 2-3 people. Overall I felt like over priced, I payed around 6700 for just 8 hours of stay. Maybe if I had stayed for a night it would have been good.
A very good place. Food and stay was really serene. A best escape spot in Madurai. The staff were very friendly. Food is bot expensive here
