While the infrastructure is provided by the government, where in paper you see as top notch, you have all certifications bur as in all government institutions the attitude of support staff is despicable. If you ever come out of the facility without hearing the phrase " if you want better go to private hospital", you must be lucky. Patients need to clean their own bed without proper protection. Even in normal times these are bad, think about the pandemic times. While we collectively boast about strides in health sector a lot needs to be undone. You will certainly feel humiliated by the actions of the staff. More than the patients, the staff need psychiatric counseling. The pain of the physical ailment plus humiliation and the sense of inability to go to private hospitals will be very painful to the patients. Well, like all government officials, attitude is lackadaisical. Doctors/officials may be good but the support staff are here only for the monthly pay packet
I my opinion government will more speciality for govt hospital. More important toilet cleaning. because most of the people & patients or using a toilet... please maintain clean..
Govt Hospital Is now improvement. But more improvement needed. This hospital is Now Head quarter of Vellore District Govt Hospitals
Only one wheel chair is in use, no other wheel chairs available for urgent use. Requesting the hospital authority to repair or provide the suffeciant wheel chair for patients. Staffs and Dr are responding well. When we are asking them, they also telling the same thing that one wheel chair is available for whole hospital. Such a main hospital not having more than one wheel chair is not good. No waiting chairs available at dressing room. Patients are standing or sitting in the floor to get dressing done. I asked where is Dr Karthikeyan by seeing the compliance board placed in the hospital. They simply told That Dr is on leave today Dec/21/2020. If they put the phone number of the compliance officer in the notice board at least we can communicate him. The statement given by dirty Dr that he is on leave is correct or not we don't know.
