My dad was admitted to the VGM gastro center for intestinal bleeding. The doctors diagnosed the condition carefully and provided the best surgery to rectify the condition. Now my dad is fit and fine. The staff are very caring and the hospital was built with adequate facilities. I suggest everyone visit the hospital for better treatment.
Worst hospital with poor service. Stayed for four days but still couldn't meet a specialist doctor. No proper nutrition, patient health got worse because of food provided in canteen. No proper scan and test report centers. Half day the patient was kept empty stomach not even water when he was thirst. Finally they said no one is there in scan center u can eat around night 10 30. For one blood report they made us wait one whole day and charged the room and other additional charges without any treatment.
One of the best Gastro treatment hospital in coimbatore and it is also multispeaciality hospital.. The treatment was good and they take care of the patients well.. Doctors in the hospital are seen experienced.. Dean of the hospital is excellent.. when u visit first time charges will be high but after that fee and other charges will be less
This review is not about the doctors (who we have not seen) but about the Hospital/Emergency care section I had called up the VGM Gastor center at 6:00 am this morning (29th May) if I can get my mom who has having some gastro related issues. They said they are open and a duty doctor will see and regulat dctors will be available after 9:00 am. So I took my mom for emergency hoping she would get some one in Emergency to treat her. We reach at 6:40 am. We were the only patient there. They took the new patient details and asked us to wait. As time elapsed, and there was no sign of any progress being made after 30 mins, i asked the nurse at the emergency when will the duty doctor see. She said please wait and it will take 8:00 am. Then I confronted her and she said she will be looked after as soon as her Patient File has been registered. I dont know of any hospital that takes 45 mins with not other patients in the queue and in an emergency room to take this long. We got frustrated with this lathargic attitude and left the hospital after wasting 50 mins. Pathetic Emergency ward at VGM Gastro. Incompetent and inconsiderate staff as well, as they dont understand the meaning of “Emergency” I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL FOR EMERGENCY VISITS, especially odd hours. PS: We went to PSG from there and we are getting excellent attention at the Emergency with no wasting of time, no patient file creation, nothing. Treatment first!
