Very Nice place to visit and good maintenance, need to improve. Required more time to see all view points. And good trekking experience. Take water bottle and food. Sunset view is good. Best time to visit rainy season, winter and summer too hot weather.
A historic place with great significance to Karnataka. It is the most magnificent fort built ever. The planning, building and all says it out loud. The location is just perfect, has a lot of amenities also. You can avail a guide inside the fort who explains each and every location and its history. There are around 25 spots with great historical significance inside. It would ideally take a day to complete all the locations. So take some time off and visit this place. It will be worth the time you spend.
Very nice place. The brilliance in making the fort is very visible. You cannot see a direct entry to inside. And the place is neat too. There is a lot to walk, so better come early. Can be considered as a trekking point too. There is an entry fee if 25 into the fort.
Several miles walk but put the right effort and you can see several beautiful history being brought to real life in these forts. Make sure to visit all the places in it. Online tickets are better than queues.
It's huge and very much in its original state. Be prepared to walk a lot. There are many spots to get a very nice view of fort and city outside as well. You save a little money if you buy tickets online. Drinking water is available inside the fort itself. I would highly recommend to have a guide as there are so many stories related to this fort so it will be nice.
