Long but very needful review. Just had c-section for my wife. Dr. Preethi garu has done it. We switched to this doctor from a more experienced doctor in the 9th month of pregnancy, as we can get medical reimbursement with this hospital. We are skeptical while switching, as the doctor looks young and not much experienced. My observations: Postives: 1. No extra charges for in-house scanning. Whereas our previous hospital is charging 200rs for ultrasound scan for almost every visit. 2. Total surgery package cost is less compared to many other hospitals in the area. 3. No extra charges for tubectomy operation. 4. Mother is kept in ICU for 24hrs after the surgery for careful observation. 5. The doctor prefers normally delievery. In our stay of 3 days. There were 2 normal deliveries and one c-section which is ours. 6. Even at 11.30 PM, the doctor is monitoring the patient (normal delivery) condition from home. The night duty nurses are sending patients condition details to the doctor even at late night and early morning hours through whatsapp. That is when the doctor is at home. Negatives: 1. It seems like rooms are less. We had to keep our luggage in IUI room and sleep there for a night as there is no vacant room. 2. Keeping the mother and baby in ICU with other patients and staying there for 24hrs is a little inconvenient for us. 3. Mother is made to stand and sit in just 10hrs after the surgery and discharged on 3rd day after the surgery. It may be medically acceptable and fine but as we are new to such treatments we were little afraid. . Final word: We have never seen a doctor like Dr. Preethi garu who speaks in such a friendly manner to her patients and nursing staff.... Not even in movies... She is very confident too...
I didn't understand why they have common entry for children OP and COVID-19🦠😷 patents OP. While waiting for doctor, I noticed that covid patents sitting next to the kids with or without masks. Very dangerous for kids. Immediately I rushed alone my kid without visiting doctor even I paid for OP.
Doctors and staff are very patient friendly.. Their timely intervention and care at midnight save the life of my aunt. Thank you so much 🙏👍
Worst hospital I have ever seen in chirala. For one night they charged 10k.Washrooms are not good. Hygiene is not there.
