The worst hospital I've ever been to. There will be no proper guidelines for the people who vist for the first time. Pregnant ladies will suffer like hell when they come for any scan or check up. Nurses are the worst. Very rude and they don't even answer our questions. And doctors.. omg . They just look at us and chit chat on phone or discuss something else. They won't even ask proper questions about what we are feeling. All they care about is money.
Hospital is good and well experienced doctors are good but administration is really bad. Nobody address in the reception and I see lot of pregnant woman standing in queue unattended for long hrs. Pls make it like vellore with strong administration
I want to write a review because I read many review written by many Predominantly regarding Waiting, parking, Lab reports, facilities and expenses. People who decided or thinking to come to this place need to keep some things in mind otherwise you feel your experience is bad. Lets know some background of the hospital. This not a corporate hospital. What this means is, "focus on treatment as a service" to anyone who enters into hospital irrespective of any title- rich, poor, caste, religion, language, VIP, or a common man. Anything good you experienced is added bonus. Hospital's infrastructure is not build with profit that comes from the payments done by patients as it will not be sufficient just to meet the running cost. So Keep in mind few thing when you are coming to CMC even in Vellore. * Waiting is unavoidable. * Don't expect comfort. Like Luxury waiting halls, sheds to your vehicles, comfortable chairs, Freedom to roam around, Canteen with exotic dishes etc. * You will not get reports hard copies as this increases the cost. (Can get with additional charges) * Appointments are difficult.(Hospital is not saving appointments for themselves, it is because of rush over the capacity) *Need to walk from counter to counter is unavoidable. What you get here. I will give my 2 experiences which made me curious about the hospital and find out about this hospital. Case1: When my wife got a facture on her wrist we went to 2 hospitals in Bangalore 1) Hospital has put a cast and decided it did not fix and told us that it need a surgery. Surgery costs 1Lakh exclusive of room charges and pharmacy bills. 2) On a second opinion we went a hospital and they also decided to go through a surgery but costs 3 L with a 5star luxury. We are suggested to go to CMC Chittoor by friends. My overall cost is 50K all inclusive with 1star comfort. Case 2: My uncle has a dental problem and in Bangalore they have asked 1.2L for the treatment. And I suggested him to go to CMC Chittoor along with a young assistant as he was an elderly and the overall cost is 1500rs. I am not exaggerating here because the treatment that the doctor suggested in Bangalore also may cost us more here as well. But the treatment given here is different on the bases of other parameters.(Eg: He do not need an implant that like an young boy how need to sustain for longer years ), He was treated for the disease and he was comfortable to eat and pain free and he will be happy till he lives. Right information need to take a right decision. Overall What I want to say: Think what you want? standard treatment with less cost(Not A Free treatment, lesser than cooperate) and with only necessary comforts. OR Patient Comfort is priority. In emergency ward the security dealing is very bad.Even I request to allow to feed food for phatint thay not allowing for breakfast, lunch.dinner evean I was only the attender of phatint.The duty nurses angry with me for not feeding food in time. Kindly arrange some alternative or give some guidance to security. 06-12-2021.
