Good one track railway station.... Ticket counter open half our before train comes to station
I love this station so much. I want to waste time on this station. Waste=enjoy. Nice station. Visited more than 500 times. Toilet and drinking water facility is not good. The most important part of this station is "it's an open station and feel free to move around.
Hindu and Muslim families reside in Thana Bhawan. Ancient Devi bhawan and other famous temples like Jassu wala, Ashram Panchtirthi and Jahar veer Goga Ji Maadhi is situated here. Every year a grand MELA organised in worship of Goga Ji. Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi's House, his grave & Khanqah (Masjid, Madarasa & Library), Maulana Fateh Mohammed Sahab's house also situated in Thana Bhawan........
A small station. Clean and well maintained. This station is very useful for thana bhawan and nearby villages. Stations on this track ( delhi, baraut , shamli and saharanpur) need electric train. All the trains that run here are diesel trains. One more thing, this route need double track. I hope that both (electric trains and double track) will be implemented here soon.
