Visit Pulwama . It's a beautiful town in Kashmir Lahoo is a village in South Kashmir's Pulwama district of Kashmir valley. Ladhoo is located 18 km away from the center of Srinagar and 4 km from NH44 via Lethpora above the bank of river Jhelum. It is one of the largest villages of Constituency Tehsil Pampore, covering an area of 9 sq. km. This village is known to host various religious sufi saints , notably including Nund Rishi Or Sheikh-Noor-din-wali r.a (who spent almost ten years of his life in Ladhoo), and Jeevan Sahab. It is one of the saffron (kesar) growing villages of the Pampore region and is also near a hiking spot known as WASTURWAN. - Wasturwan - An impressive ridge 2950 meters high provides a vintage view of South and Central Kashmir besides the entire Pir Panjal. -The vast pastures on the top and surrounded by the lush green pines and other wild varieties of flora and fauna is famous among Trekkers. -Alltitude : 2950 metres -Distance covered : 15 kilometres

Creative Writing Workshop enraptures youth in Pulwama November 15, 2017 Pulwama: A creative writing workshop was organized by Koshur Qalam in collaboration with Government Degree College Pulwama on Tuesday here in the college auditorium. Koshur Qalam, one of the most reputed writing forums in the vale of Kashmir, has been striving to promote creative writings among youth. “This creative writing workshop was a step towards facilitating a platform for the aspiring writers,” Badee Uz Zaman, Administrator of Koshur Qalam said. The innovative workshop was attended by Tooba Rasheed – Author, Novelist, Nighat Sahiba – Poet, Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar winner and Mushtaq Barq – veteran Poet, Writer who made participants aware of various facets of the art of writing.
