Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport is probably the biggest and busiest international Airport in the North East India though smaller than the International Airports of Metro or some other bigger cities. Also known as Guwahati Airport, it serves as a hub for the most of the domestic flights to the entire North East region of India. Passengers can hire taxis and buses which connect the neighboring provinces. Almost all domestic airlines are having their flights to this place and likewise many leading International carriers also. The staff and office bearers are very supportive and helping. Over-all, I had a nice experience and feel of the place.
Too much attitude of parking cash receiver..no manners at all
Place is good and clean. Even now in this pandemic, they have done a great job to keep us safe. I enjoyed the waiting lounge and have used the shopping complex. There are enough amenities and things. So many check-in portals to save our time. There is an ATM and parking area in front of the exit. They are expanding possibilities for the better than before experience.
Air travel has made our lives easier and travel faster 😊 and airport plays an important role in this. The better the infrastructure the easier the travel. Guwahati Airport is one such important Airport in North East which is neat and clean and happens to be the the easiest connectivity with the major cities across India. U can reach here by Cab and Bus. Always try to reach 2 hrs early because security check takes lot of time. They ask for ID proof at the security check. So keep it handy along with your Boarding Pass.
One of the smallest, neatest and well managed airports. Easily accessible and outside the city limits. Ample parking outside with reasonable pricing. There are all facilities inside and the staff is efficient.
