I loved this place. Calm and peaceful, friendly staff and good facilities. If you like to enjoy nature with your beloved ones, this is a nice place. A good weekend destination from Bangalore.
Excellent hospitality and good homely cooked food.Mahendra santosh hospitality is too good,he spent whole day with us and shown all the places around. I would like to really appreciate the staff and resort ,it just feels like your are home away home. I would truly recommend this place
Here I am again with a very detailed review: One line summary for this resort is "Awesome resort with great hospitality and 5 star overall rating". Route We started from Bangalore with cab (Ola Outstation) at 3:30 am in the morning . We took three small breaks in our journey for tea snacks and some photo shoot and since there was no traffic we reached this resort at 9 am. This resort is located in Kemmangundi . It is approx 270km from Bangalore. Though it is located little outside of Chikmagalur main city but its worth of staying here . It is surrounded by greenery all around . You can see palm trees all around you and also mountains in front of the resort . Hospitality When it comes to services and hospitality, this resort was absolutely an awesome place with great hospitality. The manager "Veenu" is a very nice and kind person. He will make you feel like you are in your home and he will make sure that you get everything that is required . He is so courteous and the way he used to respond for every ask was commendable . All the staffs are so nice and well mannered. They will bring all necessary things on a single call to your cottage . Facilities You get breakfast, lunch and dinner free with your stay here. For us even our driver's food was all free . And I should mention here that food was awesome here. The staffs will serve you food in a nice manner and all food was so tasty. They will have non and veg options here at dinner . Breakfast may have idly, dosa, wada, veg pulao, puri , chole etc. Lunch will be pulao, rice, sambhar, rasam, curd, two veg curries, sweet. Dinner can have all food items that's there in lunch with non veg and different veg curries. Apart from this in your cottage , you will get bed, blanket, hot and cold water in washroom , refrigerator, stand fan, sofas, chairs, table and all necessary items. They also have the arrangements for camp fire during night and at whatever time you say they will arrange things for you. They will give big speakers to every cottage so that you can play music and dance in open space during your camp fire. They should have kept some sports things but yes this was missing . There is also enough space outside the room in cottages so that you can also sit outside on sofa and enjoy the chit chat with your friends Overall The resort is like a nursery with varieties of beautiful plants and trees. You will feel like you have a cottage surrounded by wonderful flowers and trees all around. You will be amazed by the greenery that they provide. Roses, dates, sunflower and etc etc. The resort is situated close to Hebbe waterfall and Z point trek so if you are planning to go on a two day trip , these two destinations will be a great pick. The special jeep ride in Hebbe waterfall will be something that you will remember for the life time . Z point trek will be equally exciting. There is also enough parking place here . They charge on per person basis everyday and not on room basis . Overall its a place worth of visiting once with your dear ones . Happy stay here .
Lots of plants, trees, flowers ....very close to nature.....colourful butterflies,melodious birds make the place more beautiful. Food is also good. Seating area infront of the cottage has made our stay homely. Highly recommend this resort.
Accommodation is decent..they have individual cottages with privacy admist of neatly maintained garden which is cool..but don't expect luxary ..they provide campfire and speakers for music ..Food is decent and close to home.. location wise it is at ballavara town 12 km down the kemmanagundi hill...but they provide guided local tours which made our stay memorable
