It is a second largest Mangrove forest in eastern India. This is great place to watch birds but if you don’t see the birds at the time of your visit, please don’t assume that there are no more birds. All the birds that visit this sanctuary are the migratory birds meaning they only visit at particular time. I loved the boat ride in back waters. It’s so serene & calm. Walk on the wooden bridge is also very nice as we get see the mangrove trees very close. I was surprised to know that we have this beautiful place in Kakinada.

Awesome experience and greenery. But you can not any wildlife there except the fact that it is a wild sanctuary. You hardly find monkeys. It is worthy to take a drive to backwaters by a ferry and find the Hope Island.

It will be nice for nature lovers. There is some kind of bird, monkey species which will attract tourists. Everyone has to walk almost 5-6 kms(IDK the exact distance) which is not possible for many.

Just one time watch, can see mangroves..have never seen different species of birds, can enjoy boat ride.Sanctuary contains small food stall also. One good thing is it's eco-friendly.. they won't allow plastic inside, like they'll open any packed eatables like biscuit pack or chips brought by visitors put it in a paperbag and give it to us U can also plan beforehand to go to hope island from here on boat, island is not developed, deserted ,No food will be available at the island.
