What to say about this place, the place where Buddha attained his purpose. Mahabodhi temple is one of the amazing places in whole of India where you can find peace. The birds chirping, the squirrels roaming, peoples coming and having a good time as in this place you will find peace. A perfect place for a weekend gateway if you are planning to visit. The food is great and the atmosphere is charming in such a way that you do not want to leave the place. The people are dependent on the tourism. It is very neat and clean and the main thing is that it is free of cost to visit all the temples around Mahabodhi temple.

It's a very soothing place. You will feel peace and calm when you visit this temple. It will take minimum 1 hour to view every area of the temple. The place is so clean, the air is so pure. The priests are very soft. There are few guides also who will beautifully explain the story behind the temple. It's a must visit place ❤️

So serene and beautiful. You can have a moment of peace here. The cloakroom facilities are available at zero charges. You can visit nearby temples from here on foot. The best thing is that they don't allow phones and headphones inside the temple premises. Nearby there is a Jagannath and Ram temple where phones are allowed.

The Mahabodhi Temple is one of my favourite place of all the locations that I have traveled to so far. It's calm, serene, peaceful and truly beautiful. You will find peace in here.. After a section only E-rickshaw is allowed near the temple loads of amazing restaurant n shopping stuffs around the temple is only accessed by E-rickshaw. Your shoes and cell phone bluetooth and any other item is collected by security. Then you are scanned by security guard. you can only take like pen, money inside. Yes, You can take camera at additional ticket price. All you could hear was the chants of the praying monks. Buddha got enlightened here and the whole area vibrates with much peace and energy even if one does not sit and meditate.

The place where Siddhartha became Buddha... The temple is ancient and enchanting... The place is surrounded by Buddhist monuments from almost every country where Buddhism flourished, Japan, Tibet, Vietnam, Thailand, Nepal to name a few.... The flee market has one item of curiosity, the singing bowl... Get there to experience the glory of dharma, beauty of mixed cultures and peace of
