With a very narrow road from the main road, accessibility is a problem, but good care is given for the local population. Very scenic location near a bridge, beside a canal. The centre itself is big enough with most basic facilities for a small laid-back village.
The Government Hospital at Kumarakom is located at the main area of the village, in the river side. The Hospital recently restored & facilities updated.
