Almost all the important government offices are near it. It is also known as new court of Chatra as older court was almost 5km west of it. Chatra sadar hospital is also near the court.
This is the newly constructed civil court of Chatra. It is said, this is the biggest civil court of Jharkhand state.
It is a house of justice but it is blind.
