One of the best planned zoos that I have ever visited in my life. All staff was helpful and courteous. Very good cart service. The driver was an excellent guide and when requested he stopped to allow photos to be taken. He was a pleasant person to talk to. The zoo inhabitants seemed to be well looked after and in good health. It appears the zoo has excellent veterinary staff. The constant rain was a dampener but overall it was a very good experience. Would love to visit again in better weather.
Amazing Zoo. This was my first experience, visiting a zoo. Mind blown!! Lots of lovely animals and birds here. Was feeling lucky having been here. Regretting that I should've visited this place before. Staff were nice including the people in the cafeteria. Just loved the fun time with my family, coming from Bangalore. Highly recommended!!
Just about the best zoo in the country. Top notch facilities for the visitors as well as the animals! It’s great to see the animals taken care of at such good standards. And such a wide variety of animals and ample space for each species. Need a good part of the day to enjoy the place fully. Amazing experience for all ages. Very impressed. Along with entertaining the visitors, the zoo tries to educate and raise awareness too.
Amazing place to visit. superbly kept with all information/details about animals posted near the dwellings of each animal in two languages. scientific and common names of trees are also mentioned. maps are provided in facility to make navigating inside easier. water refreshments/ restrooms are available near exit. staff was vigilant about behavior of visitors so animals are not distressed making it a really fun experience. I would suggest scheduling 3-4 hours visit here if you want to really enjoy it in leisure. Great experience for adults and children alike.
It's always a pleasure to visit the Mysore zoo. Giraffes look magnificent and great as usual. The joy ride in electric vehicles is a relief with small kids and elderly people. Although the waiting time was an hour, there was comfortable space to relax or sit while kids enjoyed viewing the giraffes. Wide variety of birds and wild animals are there. Reptiles ranging from crocs to alligators to separate snake park is amazing. Rhino and hippo can be seen at a closer angle safely. The zoo has wonderful safety system without compromising the view of animals and birds. We visited zoo thrice but liked it more every time.
