Good staffs except one in procedure room. Canteen food is not at all good. nice and beautiful hospital. Doctors are very kind towards patients
Today I accompanied my cousin who is taking radiation at MCC. Once I parked the car and came to the entrance, the security standing at the door started 'interrogating' me in a very unprofessional way. I told him, patient has already gone for radiation and I went to park the car. I had patient file in my hand and still he was creating a ruckus there. There were so many patients passing through the entrance door and he didn't have any issues with them. He should understand a hospital like this is not a movie theatre where people would love to come. If someone is coming there it is either for a consultation or treatment or they are accompanying the patient. Why such a ruthless and unprofessional behaviour to me ? Is this because I am a woman? Are these security guards not trained enough to behave professionally? Being a guard he can ask basic questions in a professional manner but he has no right to exploit a situation when it is a woman.Management in charge of the hospital should train them on professional etiquettes. I wanted to complain to the management about his behaviour. So I asked a staff inside where can I leave a complaint about this. He suggested to check at the enquiry counter. They suggested to go to the directors office and meet the administrative officer. He had not yet reported to office then. So I asked them who else is there with whom I can leave a complaint. He went inside to check with the director. But the staff came back and said director suggested to wait for the administrative assistant. Then he told me to go to the office next to OP counter. The staff who was sitting there said Madam has not yet come to the office. I asked him if I can leave a complaint with him. He also said in a very reluctant way that he doesn't handle that. So it was a typical example of a beaurocratic "we dont care about the service quality" attitude throughout. No wonder why people prefer a private hospital. At least there will be a hospital manager or OM to take care of the complaints and feedbacks. Next time instead of expecting manners from them, I would rather complain to a higher police officer and also to the women's commision.
Lot of patient , all Dr all well experienced and we'll known in their field , staff and the security are warm and helpful , registration process takes bit of the time
Well known Cancer Centre in Malabar region. Well experienced doctors and staffs. Located in a hilly terrain and bit away from Thalassery town. Road from Thalassery to MCC was in pathetic condition at the time of visit. Some accomodation facilities are available outside the hospital.
A good treatment centre for cancer patients. Now the infrastructure development procedures are in progress with the government fund. After the completion of works, patients and bystanders will get good facilities and treatment.
