A very big and awesome office of railway and there is am ATM inside this headquarters. Security is tight over here and ATM is may allowed for the use of common people. The outside road is not in good condition. But from inside it is beautiful.
The headquarters of the North Western Railway is located in Jaipur. This division came into being on amalgamating parts of Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway (BB&CI), Rajputana Malwa Railway and Jaipur State Railways. It caters to the states of Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. With 84.92% of its revenue generated from passenger traffic, this division is predominantly passenger oriented. A part of its earning also comes from cross traffic, which includes cement, fertiliser, salt, edible oil, oilseeds, food grains, gypsum and limestone. This division is a major hub for container loading as from here, containers are loaded in bulk. It comprises a total of 128 stations, and the total number of trains running on this division is 146. This division alone deals with 22 metre gauge and 88 broad gauge trains, and serves about 35000 passengers every day. The total staff strength of this division is about 12000.
