One of the best hospital and faculty for optometry fellowship and internship. I did my fellowship in this hospital let me tell you if you are willing to learn everyone will teach you and let u know different new techniques. All the best
Please do not visit this hospital now during Covid times for any kind of EYE EXAMINATION OR ROUTINE EYE CHECKUP. They are just collecting the fees of Rs.500.00 and do not conduct any kind of eye tests(like OCT, detailed eye testing etc) in order to check on the status of the eye power or any other eye issues. The relevant doctors pretend as if they are doing a great amount of testing just by sitting on a chair (ordinary chair) and detailed tests are not done at all. My recommendation to all is -- DO NOT BOOK ANY EYE TEST OR EXAMINATIONS HERE DURING THIS COVID TIMES. They are just fooling people after collecting the fee in advance.
I did my internship here in this lovable and friendly environment. All the optoms and Doctors are highly experienced. They will teach things in a way that is easy to understand and you will get energetic and start loving more than before. And all those camp i went it was all a new experience for me. This one year will always be in my heart where i got to learn so many things and care that i received from everyone. Thankyou.
Recently I have completed one year internship programme from this institute had a great experience..Provides a quality education more over will get exposure to new things to learn clinically.. Best place to study if you are really interested about it 👍🏻
Reducing by one star only because of the horrible lady sitting on the first floor Imaging room today at the Jayanagar branch on , 25th Sept 2021 around 1:30pm ist. My mum has a collapsed vertebrae and was on a wheel chair. We were asked if she could sit on the chair to which we obliged then we were asked if she could stand we agreed to that as well as we wanted to make it convenient to the said horrible lady in the room. My mum couldn't be stable because of her medical condition after a while and this lady was very rude to her. I told her hey she has collapsed vertebrae and she went on a rant about why they need to be stern. I said, nope. Not right. It's customer service to be polite. She didn't agree. Absolutely rude. Has an attitude. Rest of the staff, starting from the security at the gate, security at the door the doctors assistants, the doctors themselves and the housekeeping staff had the most impressive attitude. This lady needs to sit for classes from them to understand a patients problems and know there are other parts of the body too other than an eye which can have problem and learn how to deal with them. Arrogance is no no.
