It's a registered vaccination center. I had a slot booking of 09:00 am to 10:00 am on 23.09.21. I reached the hospital on 9:30 and as per their instructions I wrote my name alongside my phone number on a sheet. They asked me to wait for some time and I waited till 10:33 am and asked the authority about the status of the vaccination process for the day. I was quite concerned since this was the last date to get my jab. So, I asked them if I will genuinely get the vaccine or not as I got know the scenario was quite similar yesterday and they refused some beneficiary since the quota of 10 persons was not meet. The person in charge told me to arrange 9 more people so that I can get my second dose their. P.S.- I was not an agent there. They treat patients and vaccine beneficiaries as their 'customers'. That's why they could make such statements. First, I told the person in charge to show me a complaint box where I can raise my concerns which they failed to showcase. Can you imagine a public service organization telling you to get out of their premise even after having proper appointment slip? Because that is what they did literally. I asked for a written copy stating their inability to provide me the vaccine which they refused to offer. The person calling himself the superintendent of the hospital asked his security guards to throw me out of the hospital. All I was demanding there, is a written copy stating what they were speaking. But what they did is exactly throwing me out of the hospital premises. It's been quite of an experience there. Also, if you check the review section their own people writes the reviews for them.
My experience with this centre is a mixture of yayys and nyahs,possibly most of the things around us are a mixture of both good and bad aspects. Cleanliness and behaviour and cooperation of the front office and TPA is awesome. I had to admit dad for a quite a few times here, and never found any delay in the mediclaim process here ( special thanks to Madhuparna). Everytime i approached Ms Sheuli for any help, she was always eager and sincere to the problem statement. The treating doctor was very good as well but i must say the cost incurred here is more than what i experienced elsewhere ( for cancer treatment at least). Another big drawback is having NO inhouse kitchen( not sure if recently they built it or not) So final conclusion would be , it may not be your best or first choice, but its definitely a good one in Kolkata.
