PIMS will be the 2nd AIIMS in punjab ? Times of India News: The first AIIMS is already coming up in Bathinda and the state has proposed the second one either in Ludhiana or Jalandhar. Talking to media persons after his meeting with the Union health minister, Captain Amarinder Singh said the Rs 250 crore PIMS Jalandhar building could be used for this purpose. Is delayed due to covid pandemic ?

If you reach for some test and if they need of photo copy of adhar card.they don't have facility of photo copy.you rin around 5_7 km.
Patient wise- Okayish, facilities are plenty but most doctors refer scans and tests outside for commission Pharmacy is excellent ,well stocked MEDICAL COLLEGE- Only Undetgraduate College, NO PGs, NO Superspeciality facility FACULTY- Most comprising of Retired doctors who show least interest in work with low level of competency ADMISSION- Through NEET on merit Has good quality students, less of paid seats Fairly Neat and Clean, although can be improved TREATMENT- At cheaper rates compared to outside
They. Have excellent infrastructure but politics ruined this hospital completely. Instead of handing it to a private society of a cabinet minister this should have been taken over by the government only. Right now there is no proper timing for doctors and I enquired about the test very basic one...And I was told that it is done only for one hour.... Which was completely ridiculous thing to hear. I hope the government takes care of this and they are able to utilise the huge building for benefit of people
