Amazing place
One of the best places to visit whenever you are near badami, aihole, which is accompanied by sasivekalu ganapati, jodukalasada gudi, achaleshwara Temple. which were built by queen Akkadevi under the ruling of Chalukyas in 10th century.
located within the village, this "well" with beautifully sculpted walls is said to be of the period of Kalyani Chalukyas which has been recognised by the Archeological Survey of India and hence has proper fencing around it. But has been neglected with respect to maintanence. Within a kilometre range from this are few more temples belonging to same era. Since it is located15km from Ron, one can consider this for a minor visit while going from Gadag or Hubballi to Pattadakal-Aihole-Badami complex.
